Tell management to bargain in good faith:
Sign on, fight back

We, the undersigned employees of Children’s Hospital Oakland’s inpatient pharmacy, take pride in our hospital’s 110-year legacy of serving Oakland and the Greater Bay Area—especially our most vulnerable and underserved communities. We have built that legacy on pediatric excellence and compassionate care, supported by strong workers’ rights and stellar benefits that help us deliver excellent patient outcomes.

We love our hospital, and we speak up because we are deeply concerned about what we are seeing happen here. Since the transition to UC San Francisco, management has imposed devastating cuts to wages, benefits, and job security—jeopardizing our ability to provide the care our patients deserve.

We have already watched hundreds of co-workers leave hospital employment after these significant reductions in benefits and compensation.

We demand real proposals and good-faith bargaining to address issues affecting patient care and workplace dignity.

Our demands:

  • Require seniority-based scheduling standards.

  • Require transparent, accountable standards for holiday scheduling.

  • Require transparent, accountable standards for weekend scheduling.
