
Are you required to be on call?
UC has to negotiate over compensation.
As the result of a grievance filed by UPTE, an arbitrator has ordered the University of California to bargain over on-call rates for Business Technical Support Analyst 3s or System Administrator 3s.
If you are required to be available to return to work—including performing work remotely—outside of your scheduled hours, UC must now negotiate additional compensation for this.
