AFSCME 3299 has announced an open-ended strike starting on Thursday, May 14, after nearly three years of negotiations.

We encourage you to join AFSCME 3299 picket lines before and after work, during breaks, and during meal periods.

UC will likely give you advance notice that you must provide documentation if you are sick on those days, so you will need to call your doctor and request a note. We call on UPTE members to fill out the following intake form immediately, any AFSCME work that someone is asking you to perform, and do not volunteer to cover AFSCME work during the strike.
