Tell UCLA Health:
Keep our ONE remote work day!

From 2022 to 2026, UCLA Health Quality Improvement Healthcare Specialists and Infection Preventionists maintained productivity and support for our teams while working four (4) days in-office and one (1) day remote.

We recently received a notice to return full-time in office. This unilateral change in work negatively impacts employee morale and causes substantial financial and time burdens for our staff. In our employee survey, it was reported that a daily average of 1 hour and 20 minutes are spent solely to make a one-way trip into the office, while 70-90% of meetings are conducted virtually. The average return trip duration is almost double. Retaining one (1) weekly remote day would meaningfully reduce this burden while preserving four (4) days of in-person collaboration to support patient care processes.

Sign our petition below calling on Dr. Robert Cherry to continue our telecommuting agreement and one (1) remote work day per week through 2028.
