We know our power comes from standing together—our own contract has expired since November 2024, and we’ve kept showing up for each other.
On October 31, 2025, standing with the California Nurses Association is how we turn that power into real leverage. When nurses are strong at the bedside, our work in the labs, clinics, imaging, IT, and research is stronger too—because safe staffing, patient ratios, workload limits, and scheduling standards rise for everyone.
A united front tells UC that it can’t divide departments or silence us.
Showing up in UPTE blue at the CNA picket is a show of solidarity for safer workloads, better retention, and respect for the entire care team. One team, one message: we win more—faster—when we stand together.
