Hardship Fund Requirements

To qualify for strike pay you must show up to the official picket/action for each day of the strike and stay for one full shift, signing in and out

If you have a valid excuse for not being at the picket line - eg. you were scheduled to work a shift at another non-UC job, you were taking care of a sick family member - you must fill out an excuse form within one week of the strike

If there is no picket/action on the day of your strike you must attest that you did not cross the picket line/go to work for UC/pick up any shifts at UC in writing

If you are not scheduled to work, but there is an action/picket (for example the picket is on your usually scheduled day off) you can still qualify for strike pay by showing up to the action/picket
