During our first month of bargaining with the University of California, our union's bargaining team of frontline healthcare, research, and technical workers made our first set of proposals on work/life balance and ways to fix broken career ladders across the state. UPTE members rallied and packed the negotiating room in a tremendous display of unity—and you're invited to RSVP to join us at UCLA on July 18 when we do it again.

We believe that all UPTE members have a right to attend and observe negotiations, and we held our ground and insisted on bargaining in-person at the UPTE office in Westwood. Join us to demand a strong contract that resets UC's priorities and invests in our important work.
